Walmart Trampling

How much are a few savings worth to consumers? Is it worth losing your dignity by standing in line all night in front of some store waiting to give them your money? Apparently to the shoppers of Long Island New York, the savings on Black Friday are worth a human life. The doors of the local Walmart store were busted off the hinges as savage buyers stormed the shop. An unidentified male store employee was knocked over and subsequently trampled to death by over two hundred people, few of which stopped as the man lay on the ground gasping. I’m really sorry to be reporting such a disgusting and despicable story on the day after Thanksgiving. Another pregnant woman was also knocked down and taken to a hospital where doctors cleared her and her baby. I think on a day like this it is important to reflect on what we as human beings value. These large retailers might offer up some discounts on black friday but nothing is worth losing our humanity over like the shoppers of the Long Island Walmart.
