The official notion of the Blackberry Storm is negative

Verizon has been saying that the new Blackberry Storm has been their fastest selling handset to date. But the official word on the streets is that the new Blackberry Storm has failed to meet expectations. It is quite disappointing given the fact that I am a Blackberry fan. And the preliminary photos of the Blackberry Storm looked very promising and attractive. But the first person to degrade the handset from Canadian company Research in Motion was New York Times columnist David Pogue. He said the Blackberry Storm touchscreen smartphone should just be called the “Blackberry Dud”. One of Pogue’s readers responded by saying:
“Having tried the Storm on two different days to make sure it was really as bad as it seemed the first time, I too find it unbelievable that these are for sale,” a reader wrote to Pogue. “Verizon should just box all these Storms up and send them to Toys R Us, who can sell them in the Brainteaser section, right next to the Rubik’s Cubes.”
Other gadget bloggers said that the operating system was horrible for such a great piece of hardware. Another blogger said the clickable screen was annoying and said that typing on the Blackberry Storm was like “typing on a manual typewriter”. If these are any indication, it looks like the Blackberry Storm is just a disappointment. Research in Motion better think of a better solution to battle the Apple iPhone. Cause right now, the Apple iPhone remains unscathed at the top of the mobile phone mountain.
