Virtual Reality Progress

We’re still not even at the “Tron” level of virtual reality yet and its 2008! C’mon scientists! Put that MIT education to work! Well a Sweden based group has been conducting experiments on self perception and the results could be used to bring Virtual reality technology to the next level. Check out this video from Yahoo! news about the results of the experiment. Imagine playing Gears of War 3 feeling everything that Marcus Fenix goes through(at least you have an incentive to not get chainsawed…). Actually on second thought, that might not be the greatest idea. Still, I’m sure developers of Japanese sex games are watching this story like hawks.
