No what you are seeing here is not a man smashing up his bosses car for laying him off. This was part of a marketing ploy for Guerrilla: Red Faction a shoot em’ up game for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Developers THQ decided it would be fun to fill up a little car with copies of the game and chain a sledge hammer to the car and then let human nature kick in. THQ figured since the game itself displays supposedly the worlds most destructive physics engine that what better way to promote the game then giving passers by a chance to destroy a car with a sledge hammer, honestly how many times have you ever had a chance to swing away at a car with a sledge? sounds fun right. Many walked away with copies of the game for either system and others just wanted a chance to beat up the car. Rumor has it GM donated the car since no ones buying them anyway.. nah just kidding.
