Amazon wants to buy Netflix?

Netflix has a good year, they’re featured on various mediums like the Xbox 360 and Sony BRAVIA HDTVs and have had pretty good subscription rates even in this new age of digital downloads and piracy. It was recently rumored that Amazon was interested in buying out Netflix, which caused their stocks to soar. It has caused analyst from Bloomberg to take notice as they’ve seen Netflix’s stock price rise with the buy out talk from Amazon. An attempt by Amazon to buy Netflix won’t be cheap, Netflix has been around a good amount of time and isn’t some start-up garage company. I can see how Amazon is interested in Netflix however, they both are big in the digital streaming market with Netflix specializing in movies. If Amazon acquires Netflix they can dominate the streaming market, and sell goods to those customers through their store as well. Of course none of this is official and is all purely speculation, stay tuned for any more news or any official word from either party.
