A cure for chubby UK power outlet plugs

If you’re ever traveled to other parts of the globe then you’ve probably noticed that not everyone uses the same power outlets that us Yanks do, in England they use one that’s almost as big as the British Isles themselves. The throwback to the Victorian age is about to lose some heft however, via a concept folding plug. The two horizontal prongs rotate in-line with the vertical one and the body folds in half. It goes from the size of a football to just about 1cm. The plug works in either position setting which is pretty interesting. No official word on this new plug concept has been released, but it is about time that the UK follows the rest of the world into the 21st century.
