Entire Beatles catalog re-mastered

There is s a lot of Beatles goodies coming out recently, first The Beatles Rock Band now this. As a Beatles fan I am pretty darn excited! It looks like the entire Beatles catalog, including the original mono albums, have been re-mastered. EMI’s Abbey Road Studios in London meticulously re-masted each and every song taking great care to get it done right. They used original vintage analog equipment along with the latest digital conversion systems to transfer the original master tapes.

Luckily the original tapes had no defects, but were dusty and had to be cleaned off very carefully before the transfer could be made. This process took the team four years to complete, but it will be worth it! The box set is available for pre-order on Amazon, the CDs will be available individually as well. The CDs contain the original vinyl artwork, liner notes, recording and historical notes and photos. They will be released on September 9th. The stereo box set will go for $180 on Amazon, no work on pricing for the mono box set.
