Student Gets Free Final Cut Studio 2

A Greenwich High School student and aspiring film maker recently wrote Steve Jobs. The letter politely asked for a student discount (which is normally given to college students) on Final Cut.
He got way more than he asked for when Apple shipped him a Final Cut Studio 2 package for free! Judging from the letter, this kid probably has enough money to afford it but it was still a nice gesture for Apple. I just wonder why my repeated letters for a free Macbook Pro keep getting denied….
